How to use this calendar

If you’re planning your arrival date: contact employers before travelling and allow time to arrange accommodation and transport. Arriving early can help with preparation, but does not guarantee a job.

If you’re already in NZ and between jobs: use the calendar to compare nearby regions and upcoming crops. Moving for work has costs, and the timing can change with weather and employer demand.

If you want steadier, less seasonal work: hospitality and retail in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch hire year-round, just at a slower pace than the summer peak.
